Sensoria Kids, 68-1, Jalan 27/70a, Desa Sri Hartamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

About the event

It might not be easy to approach the topic of consent, body boundaries, or unsafe touches with young children, yet a recent report by the Statistics Department reveals a 9.5% increase in child sexual crimes in Malaysia in 2022. As uncomfortable as it is, this is an important topic that should be addressed from a young age to keep our children safe.

Well, where do we begin, you might ask?

IBU x makchic brings you a fun and engaging interactive workshop for young children and parents of young children to approach topic of body safety and to spread awareness on this important topic in a fun and engaging manner. We will explore key skills such as personal space, emotions and safe and unsafe touches and empower children to protect and take charge of their own bodies.

Highlights of the event:

🎵 Song & movement

💬  Best practices shared for parents with parents via Q&A
