IBU's Kid's Fest @ Back to the Blues Festival

IBU will be running the Kid's Fest @ Back to the Blues Festival on Feb 24th, 2024! We have a series of fun activities lined up, including face painting, messy play, arts and crafts, spin the wheel and more. Come join us for a wonderful time. 

You have the option of buying entrance tickets to just the Kid's Fest for a great family day out, or you can also purchase festival tickets, which comes with access to the Kid's Fest. 

🎪 What is the Back To The Blues Festival? 

Back To The Blues is an urban art and music festival that fuses large scale live art session with musical performances. The central theme is the blues, its roots and its influence in shaping modern music. The stage is set to host some of the most influential blues artist locally and regionally.

Purchase your tickets below for entrance admission to the Kids Fest. Activities at the Kids Carnival: 

• 🎡 Spin-the-Wheel: Spin the wheel and win amazing prizes.  
• 🎭  2x Arts and Craft: Materials provided for different age groups to make emotion-themed crafts.
• 🎨🖌 Painting Giant Cardboard House: Transform the cardboard house into a ""Blues Expression House,"" where kids can paint their emotions or favourite blues-inspired scenes on the walls. 
• 🎭🎨 Face painting:  Express yourself with exciting face painting on a first come first served basis 
• 🪅 Messy Play: A sensory play area with coloured rice or pasta, providing a world of imagination, creativity, motor skills development and a whole load of mess. (AM session: Mini Magic Messy Play and PM session: Play 0'Clock)
• 🪓🪵 DIY Woodworking Workshop (6 and above): Create wooden crafts with Kita Bina, allowing kids to express their emotions through personalized creations.  (10am - 1.30pm)
• 🥌 Slime Making: Engage in a therapeutic journey of creativity by _ER_ Slime with a cloud slime making session. It invites kids to explores textures and colours, fostering a calming enviroment for self expression.  (1.30 pm - 5 pm)
• 🎵 Storytelling | Sing-A-Long | Music & Movement:  Enjoy a fun musical time with Melissa and friends from Lighthouse Preschool.

1. Basic ticket @ RM15/child (Member price RM10) 

The basic ticket gives you admission to:  1x Giant cardboard painting, various arts & crafts, 1x face painting, 1x messy play, 1x spin the wheel.

2. Basic + Slime Making @ RM45/child

Balance payment of RM30 for slime-making to be made on the day. 

3. Basic + DIY Woodworking @ RM60/child 

Balance payment of RM45 for DIY Woodworking to be made on the day. 

4. Basic + Slime Making + DIY Woodworking @ RM85/child

Balance payment of RM70 for slime-making and DIY Woodworking to be made on the day.
